Old Joke from the Journal
When NPR reported on the hurricane in Myanmar, the reports often had the line “Myanmar, formerly known as Burma…” Like there was a huge group of people thinking, “Myanmar? Which obscure Asian country is Myan–ohhhh. Burma. That clears everything up.”
